Management Information Systems is an interdisciplinary department and draws on both computer science and business. Due to technological advances and globalization, constant change and uncertainty prevails and work areas become interdisciplinary. Informaticians who work in a business and do not have a good grasp of the basic functions of the business and operators who do not have competence in information technologies are unfortunately very inadequate in adding value to the organizations they are in. The Department of Management Information Systems has taken on the role of a bridge between technology and economic sciences by closing this gap. In the department, courses such as management and organization, marketing, economics and finance are given; In informatics, courses such as basic information technologies, programming, data mining and machine learning are taught.
Since Management Information Systems is a department intertwined with technology, it directs students to continuous research, learning and development. Graduates of the department have technical, analytical, communicative and managerial skills as a result of the education they receive.

Transition to the Upper Level: Candidates who have successfully completed their undergraduate education can study in graduate (master's and doctoral) programs.
Graduation Requirements: Students who successfully complete all of the courses in the program for a total of 240 ECTS and achieve a grade point average of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 are entitled to graduate. In addition to successfully completing the courses, a graduation work is essential for graduation.
